Will you be able to call 911 during the solar eclipse? The Aug. 21, 2017 total solar eclipse, similar this one in 2012, as seen from Australia, is expected to attract hundreds of thousands of people to Central Oregon and their cell phone use could overwhelm providers and limit the ability to make 911 calls.
