| UW professor leads effort for Ebola vaccine human clinical trials MADISON (WKOW) -- A professor at UW-Madison will lead a new effort to find a human vaccine for the Ebola virus. The goal of the $3 million effort led by Yoshihiro Kawaoka is to develop as many as 1,000 doses of an experimental vaccine that has already been proven to work safely in monkeys.
